Streamyx free upgrade

Just got this news from The Star Online Tech Central – Streamyx users get free upgrade! Wahlau… good news for us Streamyx users :D
Excerpts from the news :

Come Nov 1, the Internet service provider will upgrade all Streamyx broadband users on its 512Kbps (kilobits per second) package to faster 1Mbps (megabit per second) connections, at no extra cost.

Streamyx 384Kbps users are also being upgraded to 512Kbps connections.

Upgrading works are currently in progress in high traffic areas, with the rollout to all areas scheduled for completion by the end of the month, said TM Net chief executive officer Datuk Baharum Salleh.

Cool…. 1Mbps!! that's pretty fast connection……… must tell Jase about this…..hmmm :D

yeah…. mine now already at 1024Kbps, or simply put, 1Mbps speed… :D

mine just getting about 420kbps?
i should get 512 kbps

Kev…. bug TMNet after end of this month if your speed is still 420kbps…….
mine currently now at 1024kbps… check in ur ADSL modem web console (hint : connect your modem directly to ur PC)

chew i shud haf applied for 512K last time. they shud upgrade mine to at least… 1.5M or.. *gasps* 4Mb! :D
