Hunting up and down for a forum that I can use for my main site. Checked out InvisionBoard & phpBB, installed, and tried running them head to head. These are the few things that I tested to make sure the correct one that I wanted to use :
1. able to customise anything at all, either from the Admin console, or meddling with the template files on the server (HTML) itself
2. not-so-confusing Admin console
3. pleasant to look at, and fast to load
4. free
End up, I might be using phpBB as my choice of forum. Since it comes with the hosting package, might as well use it
