Do you believe in fate? Do you believe in astrology? Do you actually believe that we cannot actually change the course of life, that our life is fixed by some kind of element, up above? Do you go and have your birthdate calculated, believed and do nothing about the calculations that's given to you? Do you just follow the road that fate lay down for you? When you are down, or think that you are useless, did you ever thought that the One up above actually created you (or the problem) with purposes to serve on their own?

I, for one, do believe in fate, to some certain extend. I do believe that somehow, the One above had plans for me in life. That He had already mapped out roughly how my life should go. That if I take this road, I will end up doing something else. I believed that each of us (humans, animals, ghosts - if you are so inclined) are created with some kind of purposes in this world - co-exists together, using or being used by one another. Some people believed that fate can be changed by using some kind of elements, like fengshui or stuffs like that. That you can buy some bronze dragon tortoise or hang some golden pineapple-looking thingy in their houses will change their fate, without them changing what they are doing wrongly now. I never believe that - my concept is simple - if I want to change my fate, I would have to work for it. There's no way this bronze dragon tortoise is going to help me do my daily work/stuffs, right?

Some people might just thought, “Oh… i go see this geomancer lady, she damn good oh… she tell me my luck no good this year, have to buy dragon tortoise from her to change the bad luck…then the bad luck would change itself to good luck.” Bullshit. There's no way I'm going to believe that. If there's something changing from that conversation just now, it's the geomancer pocket - got more money coming in to her pocket as consultation fee, and also the dumb dragon tortoise.

I wouldn't say that those do not totally help at all - they are merely some kind of aspiration for you to work something out to change your course of fate. It's still up to the person itself whether or not you want to change your way of life.

I think I'm starting to disagree with myself…. i better stop :)
