Finally the news is broken to the rest of the team - there would be a revamp in organization, and with a heavy heart, we would have to let go of Tai Kar Cheh to another team. There's a lot of tension in the air during yesterday meeting, what more with the new manager joining in the meeting as well. Being a good “mother” to the team she is, she managed to avoid any inner rumblings (read: cry) in the meeting room.

When the news was broken to me earlier this week, I was literally shocked. Though expected (that she's gonna be transitioned to another team), but I didn't expect that she would have to let go of the team completely, and abruptly. I was in a dilemma - to smile & be happy (for the promotion) or to cry & be sad (for losing a very good manager!). Now even after the news have been broken to the team, I'm literally in shock mode. Since the news came abruptly, i have to resume the duties as soon as possible. Luckily while Tai Kar Cheh was still the manager, she taught me a lot on team operations, but still, there's a lot more to learn.

Being a team that she really nurture and give time - she brought up the team from zero (where nobody care) to hero (where everybody wants to copy) - i know that she's really sad to let go of this team. Now, I have to walk the path that she had properly lay before me, and shall live up to her legacy - which I don't think it's gonna be easy.

Cheer up, Anand - we know you could do it :)
