Cheque from LHDN

After waiting for 1 year (3 months from the 2nd form submission), I finally got my tax claim cheque!

The LHDN is fast in collecting income tax, but slow in refunding the excess tax paid, but i'm not complaining! At least, my car insurance + roadtax would be paid for this month.

How do I get my money back from LHDN?
Income tax cheque - received!

Care to share the method employed, and how do you know that they owe you money and not the other way around?

mamatd,
no special method employed - just go and ask for it. I know they owe me money, as i did my own tax computation, and kept record of the amount already paid to them.

that money will go to my car insurance + road tax due this month, so tough luck lah

any special form to fill up for the request on the refund for “extra tax paid”? I also have “refund”, still waiting…

you can get the form from the income tax office…
