Into the 2nd round, Daniel belts out his own choice of song - Heaven Knows, unplugged. I seriously thought that Daniel's voice is more suited to singing those ballad-type of songs, whether plugged or unplugged. His background as a cafe singer back in Penang (singing Mandarin songs while playing guitars in cafes) definitely brings out the voice in him. With boyish look, he definitely had a lot of fans in the form of young girls. To quote Paul Moss, “You basically take that song and 'killed' them all”… very nice indeed. This song definitely has brings back some nostalgic feelings to him - he sang this song during the auditions in Penang.

Nita chooses her own song for round 2 - from the 60's-themed Spectacular show, Big Spender. She's definitely stunning in pink outfit. But seriously, I thought her performance during the Spectaculars was better. Looks like she downplayed her voice compared to during the Spectaculars show. But anyhow, she still “kills” with her moves…

My prediction for Round 2: Equal, with Nita edging slightly.
