Yes. I lost 5kgs in 1 month. I’m so proud of it that I decided to blog about it :) Although this time, the weight lost was not as much as I had before my wedding (i lost almost 10kgs then), but i felt much better losing weight this time round. I’m still overweight according to BMI, but I definitely felt much lighter than 1 month ago.

How did I do it?

If you were one of my lunch buddies, you would already knew how I had my lunch or tea break or breakfast. I had adopted one method in losing the weight - low carbohydrate diets. In plain, normal human beings words, that essential means no rice, noodle, pasta, starch-based food and going for meat + green-leaf vegetables. Only. I have not have a single rice or noodle or even breads for the past 1 month, and I’m loving it.

Why?

I don’t have the sleepy feeling after lunch anymore. Somehow, the low-carb diet has lots of protein and it helps in reducing the sleepiness. Also, I don’t have the “full” feeling anymore which you normally experienced after eating lots of rice. And I make sure that I had breakfast so that I can somehow reduced the amount of lunch intake, and also will make it a point to have something to eat for tea break. With the low-carb diet, i also have reduced my junk food intake, which normally have huge carb content.

Let’s see how it goes, and how much weight I’ll lost. I’ll still continue with this for another month and see :)
