Streamyx ICOMS# 3864243

I have submitted a complaint for my shortchanged Internet connection at TMNet website earlier on Tuesday, and there’s still no reply until today. Here’s what I wrote in the complaints management system:

Please head over to http://www.ashotiwoth.com/blog/2007/01/28/ive-been-shortchanged/ for more information. i've been paying RM88 for 1mbps but getting 608kbps instead. please check when does this happen, and what's the reason this is happening. i'm expecting some kind of compensation to compensate my loss of bandwidth for the period.
Im expecting this to resolve ASAP!!!

Let’s see when and what will the Streamyx ppl will reply me. They better have a damn good explanation for this. Anyway, whatever their explanation is, I’m definitely going to ask for some compensation. Just wait and see.

it happened to mine too. 512K instead of 1Mb. but i wrote my email in a ‘nicer’ tone. din ask for compensation and all tat, etc.

got it restored few days ago wid 1mb/512k. try callin them instead

Alex – thanks for the heads-up. i’m waiting to see what’s the reply they would give to me. I can still wait….. that’s why i emailed instead of calling :)

dz – got reply, and i already replied them yesterday…. they asked me to do some t/shooting that I haven’t done, so done that and replied them… let’s see what they reply lah….

i’m not a telekom spokesperson but i’m rather just a staff in a company that have nothing related to telekom that have to deal alot with the customers. tell u what, i’m really gets a headache when it comes to customers that really have exactly attitude as u.. when u bought products or paid for services provided from certain companies doesn’t mean u bought and paid for our soul to u morons..if u really f*cked up with the company go for the higher level of staff that is the managerial/executives level, don’t just simply put ur anger on the staff, and we are all humans after all..paid for products or services of the certain company doesn’t mean that u paid for our salary, for our living,credit cards,car,family,etc..just please don’t hang up urself to a n old saying “customers is always right”..no they isn’t!

comment (or whoever you are) – i’m a staff in a MNC that deals directly with the customer as well. I know exactly what you feel. But I know that customer’s always right – well, not exactly everytime, but you do know that without customers, you don’t actually get employed in the first place. And when you are not employed in the first place, you don’t even get to complaint on how the customers complained you.

and please do not tell me that you don’t exactly feel the same way when something that you just bought/got decided to fail on you when you needed it the most….
