This is one question i’d like to post to those recently graduated (read: less than 10 yrs) from any institution of higher learnings & just joined the workforce: Do you feel like going back to your student days, where everything was less hectic and less stressful? :) I have always thought of ditching work, and go back to school. But then again, i won’t have the cash to fund my life if i’m not working.

I have given the thought of getting a Masters degree together with work, but I have promised myself when I graduated that I won’t be studying while working - i would only work or study, but not both at the same time. I’ve seen the trouble some of my colleagues went thru while studying part-time - coping with assignments, tests, exams - those things makes me think many times when I had the thought of going back to school.

I have this thought - why not i just take 1-2 yrs off work, and go abroad like Australia or UK to further my studies? If some people can just do that, why can I? Then again, those people who can afford to that have families to support them financially, while I have to finance myself if I were to ever think of furthering my studies. Unless, of course, I struck lottery and become filthy rich…. ehehe :)

For now, the only means of studying would be through reading the management books. I guessed I’ll hang out at Borders more often :)
