It’s like being in the war zone now - everywhere, explosions are heard from near and far, left and right. Some are loud, some made nice-looking fireworks, some just plain noisy. No - we are not in the middle of a war, but war of fireworks. At 12am sharp, Hokkien people around Penang are praying to the birthday of the Jade Emperor.

And we thought that fireworks were already being banned by our Boleh-land. I guessed I’m going to look for opps in PayPerPost and sleep a little later - at least let the war dies down a bit. Any quietness for now would mean even bigger noise later - i’m not taking any chances. Even Look Noon is restless with all those fireworks sound.
