Americanised your English
Do you speak good English? Or do you speak English with a slang or accent? Do you want to be able to speak English like an American? ETL conduct classes in accent training for you to speak English like an American.
But first, why would you want to speak like an American? Would you really have advantage when compared to Asian spoken English? Apparently, some people think that way, and those language centres have to come up with modules in American accent.
My mom used to say – if you are in amongst cow, you should moo like a cow, so I guessed it’s nothing wrong trying to improve your American accent if you are working in the US. Just don’t forget your roots, and speak like Malaysians when you are back here in Malaysia
