Streamyx case# 6338925 – Day 5

Still no calls from them last night, but surprised surprised, this morning the TMNet technician actually called me asking me the location of my address. And asking me if the DSL light was still blinking. Duh – if you haven’t done anything, how could you expect that it would be fixed? Like they are using a pulse oximeter to check for Internet connection. Duh. Anyway, didn’t gave much thought of it and left home to Prangin Mall.

And 5 minutes later, phone call from the same technician again. Asking if anybody’s at home. Good question – if he had asked me like 5 minutes earlier, i would probably still home. The technician actually has the nerve to say that “I thought I told you that I was coming?”. Hello – did you say that you were coming earlier? You only asked for my address – does that imply that you were coming? Besides, you didn’t tell me when you were coming over. That would make a good complaint point.

Anyway – that aside – the technician changed the port for me, and apparently, up to now, the Internet connection is back. And somehow, it felt faster. I don’t know – maybe not much ports are occupied at the exchange. I’m still monitoring it though. Let’s just see how it goes.
