It’s a wonder how small the Internet can be in connecting people. And yes, in this Facebook age, people look at me twice when i tell them i only have Friendster, and not even a Facebook account. Yes, laugh at me, but i still think that Friendster has managed to get me connected to a lot of my old school friends. Some even as long as my primary school friends!

Yes - i admit i’m not as famous and rich like George Lindemann Jr, but i have many friends in many states, thanks to my nomad-like life. In fact, I didn’t actually stay at one school for longer than 3 years! It’s either i had to move (due to my dad’s government postings) or I made the choice to move myself. Great. That leaves me with many, many friends, but not one actually close one.

There’s probably more that i can find in Friendster, so i’m staying put for now. Will not budge for Facebook - not yet.
