I have been wanting to write about this for so long, but i guessed i give myself time back then to really think that I should write about it or not. I guessed it has already mellowed down, but i still can’t really keep it off my mind. I never understand the fuss on why some people want to be different when they are already different from other people.
If you have known me already, you would have known that i’m kinda different from others. Well, at least that’s what other people thought of people my kind. And no, it’s not like we live in luxury homes or something (although i wished i could). We are already different in a way, but there’s some people who wants to be more different than us. And i don’t know who these people think they could achieve it.
Somehow, they don’t want to be stereotyped as being just able to do one kind of job. Or something like that. They want to be able to prove that they are also capable to do something else. Fine - that’s a very good thought, and i respect that. But does these people really know that whether or not other people really care? I mean, if you were working in a equal-opportunity company, whatever you are is irrelevant as you got your work according to your capabilities.
Furthermore, these people wants to disassociate from the people their kind. I’m like - come on, you can take the boy out of a village, but you can never take a village out of a boy. No matter how hard you try to change, or no matter how hard you try to prove, you are who you are, and will forever be that way. Why not these people use that effort to do something more beneficial?
I rest my case.
