I’ve taken another step into involving in the GPS world. I’ve been happily taking what the community has to offer, and i guessed it’s time for me to give some back :) What i’ve done? Contributing tracklogs for the mappers to add them in the next map release. All for the betterment of the GPS community in Malaysia.

Not that I get any monetary gains for me to acquire my favourite Blancpain watches, but it’s good to know that your contribution will means less people getting lost on the road, and less time spent travelling with the GPS suggesting the shorter route.

I’m not saying that i’m very good at providing tracklogs - hei, i’ve got to read up a lot on setting up my Axim X51v and Holux 236b to do the tracking, and provide the useful tracklogs. Well, people say there’s always first time for everything, so let’s hope this first time experience will be a good one, and would encourage me to contribute more. Even then, i’ve vowed to track up some of the unmapped, small routes in Penang, and probably contribute to more tracks (and routes) being added into the map :)

Don’t worry - i haven’t given up geocaching yet - this new experience let me understand more on GPS technology and it makes me interested in geocaching even more!
