When i got to this place yesterday, i didn’t know what happened. The traffic light at the junction ahead kept at red all the time. It makes everything went standstill - none from any directions could move at all. I was practically holding my pee, and managed to get out of the car, went to the nearby toilet at the toll office, got back to the car, and still managed to took these pictures. All the while, my car hasn’t moved an inch.

This was taken at Sg Petani North toll, while on the way back to my parent’s house in Amanjaya. We waited for a good 40 minutes before everything was back to normal. We didn’t know what happened initially. Although we saw helicopters circling thru the area, we thought it was some lost people looking for Las Vegas hotels and got involved in nasty accident. And something in that region.

But it was all crystal clear when i saw bicycles passed by in droves, and just realised that Le Tour De Langkawi 2008 has just started, and we happened to got stuck in the Alor Setar - Penang route. Great - what a good time to start the tourney - why don’t they do it on the first day of the Chinese New Year or something?

And i thought all was good after that. But who knows, on the way to Penang the same day, i got stuck in the jam entering the bridge. And the jam starts as early as near the Carrefour. The jam doesn’t pissed me that much - but the fact that the gantry point notice board was not showing anything helpful makes everything worst.

What’s the use of the gantry notice board if they don’t use it at all?
