The more i look around, the more i felt the price of a lot of things here are a little bit on the high side. Quick trip over the Internet - Ebay or buy.com for instance - reveals a lot of electronic goods that you can get much cheaper elsewhere outside of our country. For example - Canon Powershot S5 Pro IS digital camera sells for around RM1699 in Harvey Norman store here (maybe a little bit cheaper elsewhere, but shouldn’t differ that much). But the same camera at buy.com would only cost me like USD350. Even with US$50 for shipping, the total price is still cheaper there than here.

Why? I don’t know why. Seriously, the last i check, even our southern neighbouring country displays cheaper price tag for some electronic goods. Why? Is it our excise and customs tax & fee that much that they have to bring the price up? I wouldn’t want to really go into there. My salary not that much only - everything also expensive - how la?

Only if i can stuffs from buy.com to be shipped over to Malaysia. You can always get best buy from buy.com. Crap - now i got to ask my friend who’s working in the US to bring back some things for me.
