Happy New Year 2009 post

OK – in 10 mins or so, we’ll be ushering in 2009. A whole new year. A brand new year. So that should be the big hoo-ha about it, right? And it should also deserve a hero/prince/great/add-your-own-word welcome, right? And while doing that, causes mass jams that goes kilometres long, right?

I think all the celebrations and countdowns and what-nots are overrated. Well, at least to me. I mean, it’s dangerous as well. See what happen to those revelers that went for the Christmas party in Gurney? Cars got stopped, shook and sprayed foam on.

And now, the road right in front of my apartment is freaking jam. But i don’t care – it’s not like i’m going out or something. I’d rather be sitting here watching the fireworks later. Don’t want to risk myself getting mesothelioma from all those asbestos thingy or whatever outside during the crowd.

And oh yea.. enough about the rant. All i wanted to say is Happy New Year 2009!
