Updates to Rove attack

This post serves as a follow up post to my earlier rant: Stupid Rove beetle. The pictures that follows chronicles how’s the scar on my hand was like, day to day. Pity that my insurance don’t cover insect attack – but then again, i never asked if their extended service plan will cover it or not.

Day 3 – whitish and looks more like inflammed now than before

Day 4 – this should be the peak of the inflammation

Day 5 – drying up nicely

Day 6 – the scar actually dried up and some of it have peel (hence looks like whitish skin peeling)

Will continue to update the pictures from time to time – for my record as well to see how it took before everything goes off.

Stupid Rove bettle

I hate Rove beetle. I despise them. If you haven’t known yet what’s a Rove beetle, take a look at the picture below:

And why do i hate them, you ask? Look at the picture of my arm and see if you’ll be pissed.

yep – reddish inflamed skin. This is Day 1

I didn’t realised something was wrong with my arm until i reach office on Tuesday and started using the mouse. That’s where i felt like there’s something itchy/burning sensation on my arm and when i lifted it up, my arm was already that way. And it’s itchy and caused discomfort as i can’t really put my arm down facing the table. Should have use
promotional umbrellas to prop my arm up but that’s beside the story.

Day 2 comes and i still haven’t seen the doctor to get any medications. It’s getting itchier on Day 2 (today) and here’s how it looks like:

As i’m typing this, i’m trying hard not to scratch the itchy part – not to invoke any further damage. I may want to be seeing a doctor tomorrow for something. It’s killing me not being able to scratch it!

Countdown to HK

Today, is exactly 10 days more for my trip to Hong Kong. Pretty excited – being the only one further than 2 other countries i’ve been to (our 2 neighbouring countries). Don’t know what to expect yet – except that i sure hope that the weather in Hong Kong would be much cooler than us here (weather forecast at about 20-26 degree Celcius). Probably Hong Kong is not as grand as Orlando vacations but still, anything outside Malaysia is still huge for me.

Since small, i’ve been wanting to go Disneyland. And this time with Hong Kong trip, i’ll make sure i don’t miss them. I can miss other things but not Disneyland. Suddenly feels like a kid now. But it’s all good – ain’t all of us kids on the inside? Would be bringing my camera along and see if i can shoot and show the world the Hong Kong i see.

Can’t wait. 10 days to go.
